Torah Portion

..."man does not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of Adonai. Deuteronomy 8:3

The Torah (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy) is broken into 54 portions to be read throughout the year (sometimes combined into double portions). The name of each portion is derived from a Hebrew word found within the first sentence of the portion.
